Support Anfrage: Robot verification

Beschreibung

The website https://finds.org.uk/database has recently changed to have a cloudflare verification of not being a robot, so it is not not working in SiteKiosk. We have tried both internet explorer and chrome options but it doesn't work. Internet Explorer says the network is not working and Chrome just gets stuck on the verification page and does nothing. Please could you advise if there is a way around this issue.

Hello,

It seems that https://finds.org.uk/database switched to Cloudflare Turnstile on their website.

Turnstile does work in SiteKiosk Online but doesn’t work out of the box in SiteKiosk Classic.

But there’s a workaround for SiteKiosk Classic Windows (with Chrome Browser Skin) by adding this command-line switch: 

"remove": ["disable-site-isolation-trials"]


You can follow the steps described here:

Basically, replace 

"remove": []

with 

"remove": ["disable-site-isolation-trials"]

After saving the config in the Config Tool, it should look like this:

}

I have tried this but it is still not working. Is there any other suggestions to try?

Hello,

The workaround mentioned above worked without any issues during our test with SiteKiosk Classic.
However, I tested it again with your SiteKiosk Classic configuration, and since you've restricted the surfing area, you also need to enable the “Allow other URLs within frame structures” option under “Surfing Area” (which is usually enabled by default).

Otherwise, you may consider switching to our current product, SiteKiosk Online, where no such workaround is required.
